Upheaval in Coventry

Posted by Carroll Andrew Morse

WJAR the Projo have reports about the upheaval in Coventry. Of course, it is the main subject of discussion on Coventry’s blogs. Here’s the quick summary of what happened, compiled from WJAR, the Fabulous Rabbit, Ripolitics, and E-Town.

The Town Coucil removed Frank Hyde from the position of council president. E-Town mentions that three council members voted against Hyde. No mention of who the holdout was.

Rick Sanetti, who had been vice-president at the start of the meeting, resigned from the council completely. A special election has to be held to fill his district 4 seat.

Ted Jendzejec is the new town council president.
