Other Impressions of CPAC

Carroll Andrew Morse

WASHINGTON D.C. – I’m getting ready to fly back to Rhode Island, hopefully ahead of the snowstorm…

Mary Katharine Ham’s posts (here and here) on Hugh Hewitt’s website provide a good jumping off point for finding other reporting and impressions of CPAC.

I heard Laffey on the Hewitt radio show. Man that was good. Hewitt has rightfully taken a strong stance AGAINST the nrscc, no money for them, and he has said he has made a contribution to Laffey's campaign.

Go Hugh Go.

You left early too? You were sitting on the far right of the 'row'... I was a few seats down.

I tried to talk to you after the Pence blogging event (there was a blogger's name who I recognized!), but the room cleared out quickly. Too bad you're already gone [though I think it may have been the wise decision].

I hope that the blizzard isn't too bad.

Andrew tried to leave early on Saturday afternoon. However, his flight out of Reagan Airport was delayed and then cancelled due to the impending snowstorm, so he's staying in DC until at least Sunday afternoon.

I also "got out of Dodge" early, as did many other CPAC attendees, and was able to get out on the last flight out of BWI tonight. It was probably one of the worst flights I've ever been on, and I've been on a lot. Let's just say, I'm glad I had a lite dinner. However, any flight that lands on it wheels is always a "good" flight to me.

Alas, I didn't make it.

I think the blog-gods were unhappy with me for running out on my fellow bloggers.
