Well, apparently the liberal Internet conspiracy continues.
Resulting from what looks to have been some relatively benign and low-level hacking, our comments sections were down for at least a few hours. I thought things had been quiet 'round here.
For future reference, please don't be shy about contacting me regarding problems with Anchor Rising's functionality. I was able to fix this one in a matter of seconds... as soon as I found out about the problem.
Do Guy Dufault and John Holmes have aliblis? Obviously, someone felt threatened by the good suggestions made to reshape the RIGOP.

SusanD,
How appropriate for you mention Guy Dufault and John Holmes in the same sentence. Only difference between those two classless hacks is the nice clothes Holmes wears. Caught the tail end of Channel 6's political show this morning. What a pathetic political hackfest that was between Joe Paolino and Holmes. You could feel the slime ooozing through the TV set. Holmes is really pissed off about Carcieri's reelection and his comments were embarrassing. The Rhode Island Republican party needs to rid itself of the turncoat hack element which Holmes represents.
He's a dog! Watch your back around that creep.
I had noticed it down earlier today, too. You'd think if they were smart liberal hackers, that they would have hacked it before the elections. But again, that'd require liberals to be smart, and well...

Jealousy is an ugly thing.
Perhaps this is the thread to mention that the main page never finishes loading when I check it from work. IE says "(1 item remaining)" and the Windows logo continues to flap in the breeze, forever.
I don't know if it's something our content blocker is choking on, or what. Not a big issue, just trying not to be shy.
