Helen Glover feels for Stephen Alves, in a way similar to this frightening guy's feelings for Britney Spears.
Classic! I don't agree with Helen often, but that podcast rocked.
Can progressives and conservatives put aside their differences at least long enough to run this schoolyard bully out of the General Assembly? Or at least render a mass lobotomy to the voters of his district?

Not a chance-the lavender mafia would start a cat fight.
Fine, Mike, if you feel standing with Alves against the "lavender mafia" is more important than rooting corruption out of our state government.

For the record, orientation is irrelevant here. What matters is the identification, prosecution and removal of legislators such as Senator Alves who (okay, fine: allegedly) seriously abuse their official power for personal gain and - more than once in the case of the Senator from West Warwick - revenge. Their presence in our General Assembly accrues a high price to the state financially as well as in image.
