Does Hillary as VP Satisfy Her Supporters?
Following upon the face to face meeting of Senator Barack Obama and Senator Hillary Clinton yesterday at the house of Senator Dianne Feinstein (about which no details have yet emerged), the question now for all of Senator Clinton's supporters who are disappointed with her finish in the primary to the point that they have decided not to vote for the Democrat candidate in November:
Would you reconsider that stance if she were on the ticket as the vice presidential candidate? While it is not the presidential position, would it be enough that she is on the ticket and, if elected, that she would presumably have a say in formulating policy across the board as well as in selecting nominees for the Supreme Court, US Attorneys, etc?
Hell yeah I'd reconsider my vote if Obama put Hillary on the ticket. I'd probably end up voting for Nader.
Obama would be a damned fool for putting Hillary on his ticket. She and Bill would be undermining him at every turn. With political allies like that, who needs Republicans?
If I remember correctly Obama ran on a ticket for change.
Hillary Clinton represents same old way of doing business and not change however, if VP she could trump Bill with her own Monica type escapade (a woman’s scorn never dies) .

Posted by: Greg at June 8, 2008 1:25 PMI think this primary contest was new Dems against the old Dems. THis defeat is worse for Terry McAuliffe than Hillary. Jim Webb from Va is the name thats getting the play.
