You are really desperate. Relax, the tide of history is against you and you are spitting in the wind. You have scribbled much about ACORN and said very little that would register on a truth meter. You might also set the record straight by mentioning that,
As recently as February 20, 2006, Senator McCain was the keynote speaker at an ACORN-sponsored Immigration Rally in Miami, Florida at Miami Dade College – Wolfson Campus.
Senator McCain spoke at the rally attended by hundreds of ACORN members, most of whom were dressed in the red shirts typical of its members... Senator McCain's speech focused on the Secure America and Orderly Immigration Act, a bipartisan, comprehensive reform bill, which McCain sponsored with Senator Ted Kennedy (D-MA).
So McCain was for ACORN before he was against it. You also disingenuously coupled Ayers and ACORN. I must say, it is you who is acting like a nut.
P.S. Did you know that Palin is an astronaut because she can see the moon from her house?

A few years ago the Teamsters, while attempting to organize Overnite Transportation, had to sign a consent order with the NLRB that they would (no longer) wield guns, knives, slash tires, etc. as part of their organizing effort.
So just imagine the potential pressure that will be directed at targeted employees who will be "asked" by union organizers to sign cards "signing up" for the union - with no recourse for a federally supervised secret ballot election. Those who refuse to sign will be known to the union and could be subjected to, well, you can guess the rest.
Under EFCA the unions need to only "persuade" just over 50% of the targeted workforce to impose unionization upon the entire 100%. In non-right to work states, 100% will then be forced to join the union and pay union dues, without one ever having had the opportunity to actually vote on the matter (and if Obama wins and the Democrats control Congress they will likely change the NLRA and there will no longer be any right to work states either).
The unions want to eliminate secret ballot elections because they know that they can mislead, hound and/or coerce people into signing "authorization cards" who would never vote for them with the protection of a federally supervised secret ballot election.
The Owellian named "Employee Free Choice Act" DOES NOT include provisions for employees to decertify a union merely by "card check" - only to unionize by "card check." That tells the whole story of the real intent of this travesty.
Unions don't care about workers' free and informed choice, they care only about roping in more "dues units" who are then forced to pay tribute to the union bosses, or lose their jobs.
One has to give McGovern credit - he's not lost sight of the real intent of the NLRA - to reflect a free and informed ability of a workforce to decide if it wants third party representation / collective bargaining, and to so decide without coercion by management or unions.
Anyone who believes in workers rights and unions and collective bargaining should be appalled by this proposed trampling of workers rights by union bosses - who don't give a whit about the workers they purportedly represent, only increased dues revenue and power.

Seeing the footage of McCain speaking at an ACORN meeting last night should be enough to still this whole line of attack.
Posted by: rhody at October 15, 2008 12:05 PMI still don't see fraud affecting the election. The only fraud I see is from the workers trying to steal 50 cents for each fake signature - that doesn't involve Obama at all.
