Candidate of Death
Justin Katz
Just in case you're pro-life and have somehow talked yourself into believing that Obama will be tolerable as president:
When Barack Obama admitted to Joe the Plumber that he planned on spreading the wealth around, he didn't mention that the tax dollars he will take from you will be used to pay for elective abortions for others. The following is a brief outline of three ways that current pro-life protections against federal funding of elective abortions stand to be repealed and routed under an Obama presidency.1. President Obama will spread the wealth to fund elective Medicaid abortions with your tax dollars. ...
2. More of your tax dollars will to go to fund Planned Parenthood, and the Crisis Pregnancy Centers in your neighborhood will be defunded. ...
3. Your tax dollars will fund organizations that perform or promote abortion overseas.
According to the writer, Dorinda Bordlee, Planned Parenthood killed 264,943 unborn children in its 20052006 fiscal year. Think about that staggering number before giving your vote to the Chosen Candidate of Vague Change.

One thing I never understood...
Posted by: rhody at October 31, 2008 3:18 PMIf McCain has a 100 percent pro-life voting record in the Senate, why did cultural conservatives still consider him soft on abortion compared to Romney, Huckabee, etc., in the primary season?
Republicans are right about the immorality of abortion, but they don't want to pay for needy childrens medical care, and have no problem killing hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians in war.
Democrats are right about the immorality of war and the inequality of wealth in America, but wrong about abortion.
This is the way it's always been... two parties half right, and no permanent solutions.
That's why Bob Marley referred to politics as another "ism/schism" game... to divide and conquer us, and the human race always loses... loses more lives to war, abortion, disease, and every other evil.
"Rasta Revolution is the only solution".
Posted by: Observer at October 31, 2008 4:43 PMBob Marley was a musician,no more,no less. He's dead.Is there anyhing he had to teach anyone?Probably not more than any other musician. Most musicians are dysfunctional. They certainly seem to have a high rate of offing themselves via overdose, suicide, disease, etc. They do have something to teach us however-"don't be like me"

Posted by: Justin Katz at October 31, 2008 10:52 PMIf McCain had his way, he'd have picked Lieberman or Ridge as his running mate. He'd be in a stronger position today with either of them - really, where would the base and the Rovites go?
Posted by: rhody at November 1, 2008 12:38 AMUnless McCain pulls it out, I can see a major schism developing within the GOP over abortion.
Duly noted Justin.
