And just in the last week or two the American Legislative Exchange Council ranked Rhode Island 48th of the 50 states for economic competitiveness.
But heck, who needs economic competitiveness or employers or jobs? We've got a "great quality of life" - just ask anyone in the General Assembly, they'll tell you so.

When you get on the outside, you can really see how bad a deal you guys have there.
My advice is to get out, if you can.
