What's the point of having a rule requiring unanimity if it means merely that a legislative body must be able to put the right number of agreeable people in a room?

Posted by: EMT at June 1, 2009 3:45 PMIt is worse than that. All of the committee members were hand-selected as in favor of the original legislation and against proposed amendments. The rigging just got rigged more tightly.
