A Despicable Omission

Justin Katz

Byron York wonders whether the GM bailout will finally tie the popular President Obama to the sinking weight of his policies. Personally, I wouldn't presume to predict.

I will say this, though: I expect it registers with more voters than one might think that a president who issued a statement about the murder of an abortion doctor within hours on a Sunday is also a commander in chief who has yet, within days, to express similar "shock and outrage" that one of his soldiers was gunned down on an American street the following morning.

I guess a president must have priorities.

Just check the left wing blogs:Kmareka,RIF and PDD have NOTHING on this.Kmareka in particular had a lot of wailing over Tiller's murder.
The President and his local Obamabots are a bunch of phonies if you ask me.
I realize the religion and ethnicity of the perpetrator of this hate crime doesn't fit the profile they need to condemn him.
I'm glad they are silent.Next time Rhody starts scolding people here, keep it in mind.Same for Crowley & Co.It's pretty clear this country is divided for the forseeable future.
Sometimes when I hear Obama speak and watch his actions I wonder what he really thinks about this country. My conclusions are not encouraging.
When I hear a scumbag like Shana Kurland demean this country at a statehouse hearing,I suspect she is saying what others much higher up will not.She is the id of the liberal psyche-pouring out vomitous thoughts without restraint. Many of those in power now probably wish they had the nerve to say what she does.Only she doesn't face re-election.

Joe, you really should lighten up on the cough syrup. Its effectiveness in curing Rhody Derangement Syndrome has not even gone to clinical trials yet.

The "sinking weight" of his policies? You mean like averting the disintegration of our financial system a few months ago? Yes, yes, Justin. Proceed with your obligatory hrumphs and cite your National Review hacks. I'll stick with Richard Posner and the rest of the grownups who understand that we were on a precipice and this administration pulled us back with extremely skillful financial and political maneuvers.
