Now It's the End of October...

From Katherine Gregg of the Projo's 7-to-7 blog...
The House and Senate have set new dates for their return to the State House to take up the unfinished business they left hanging in June. You know, the delay wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing, if representatives were out in public, discussing what their plans were, and giving the constituents a chance to offer input. The House had planned to return in mid-October. But after talking on Tuesday, House Speaker William J. Murphy and Senate President M. Teresa Paiva Weed agreed they would call the House and Senate back on October 28 and 29 instead, because of scheduling conflicts that would otherwise have prevented them from meeting on the same days.
Somehow, I don't think that's how the extra time will be used.
