"T" for Two? Mark Steyn Addresses Bill Clinton's Fatuous Criticism of the Tea Party
Monique Chartier
In Friday's Orange County Register.
Hence, Bill Clinton energetically on the stump, summoning all his elder statesman's dignity (please, no giggling) in the cause of comparing Tea Partiers to Timothy McVeigh. Oh, c'mon, they've got everything in common. They both want to reduce the size of government, the late Mr. McVeigh through the use of fertilizer bombs, the Tea Partiers through control of federal spending, but these are mere nuanced differences of means, not ends. Also, both "Tim" and "Tea" are three-letter words beginning with "T": Picture him upon your knee, just Tea for Tim and Tim for Tea, you're for him and he's for thee, completely interchangeable. To lend the point more gravitas, President Clinton packed his reading glasses and affected his scholarly look, with the spectacles pushed down toward the end of his nose, as if he's trying to determine whether that's his 10 a.m. intern shuffling toward him across the broadloom or a rabid armadillo Al Gore brought along for the Earth Day photo op.

In a recent interview, Dick Morris suggested taht Mr. Clinton only re-appointed ButcheReno after a threat she would tell the truth about Waco. Maybe he has reason to fear the McVeighs.
As I recall the news at the time, McVeigh's chief motivation was that so many of his friends had lost their farms to "endangered speicies" regulations and various other governmental regulations. I can sympathize with that.

Agree or disagree, the guy can turn a phrase!
Posted by: brassband at April 26, 2010 7:03 PMIt's hilarious to hear Morris get on his moral high horse about Clinton when he was just as big a philanderer.
Posted by: rhody at April 26, 2010 8:02 PMThere is a significant difference between a philanderer and a rapist.
Posted by: BobN at April 26, 2010 9:15 PMAnd there's a difference between a scurrilous accusation and reality. BobN prove it or shut up about it. I'm no Clinton fan, but, Puhleeze!

Well, even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
Oh, the irony is wonderful! After all the demonstrated lies the Left has hurled here at GW Bush, Cheney, Palin, Thomas et al to get all indignant over Clinton is hypocrisy squared.
Just review the testimony of Juanita Broderick, Kathleen Willey, Paula Jones and the Arkansas state troopers.

Posted by: OldTimeLefty at April 27, 2010 3:54 PMYou left out Anita Hill. Oops, that was Clarence Thomas who is still sitting on the Supreme Court, probably drinking cokes in his private chamber.

Oh yes, the proven liar, Anita Hill. Great example there.

I wonder how many voters are not old enough to remember Anita Hill. Perhaps schools should teach a "recent history" course.
I wonder how many 30 year olds can recall Waco?
Posted by: Warrington Faust at April 27, 2010 8:00 PMOne last try BobN.
1. You implied that Clinton is a rapist.
2. I asked you to back it up.
3. You show a picture of a float in Germany as proof.
Phew! What Procrustean logic, extend or curtail truth as happens to fit your circumstance and argument, then scream at the top of your lungs to make a poor point.
If you still can't see your own blind hypocracy, then no further argument will avail to aid your ignorance.
