A Familiar Face Running for Office
Karin Gorman (daughter-in-law of Terry) has tended to be just outside the spotlight's range, in Rhode Island politics, but anybody who attends right-of-center public events related to government will recognize her. Her visibility will increase, no doubt, when she wins a seat in the General Assembly:
Karin Gorman, director and vice president of Rhode Islanders for Immigration Law Enforcement (RIILE), has announced she is running for state representative in District 43, Johnston, as an independent candidate. Gorman, a political newcomer, hopes to unseat two-term incumbent Deborah A. Fellela.Gorman will officially launch her campaign during a coffee hour at 10 a.m. Sunday at Brewed Awakenings, 1395 Atwood Ave.. The public is invited.
I don't know a thing about Rep.Fellela,but Karen is good people.
Hopefully this November will see a lot of leftist trash turned out of office along with the ordinary corrupt swine.
Unless RI voters are totally insane,Rep.Segal will be history.
Thank God I don't live in this district, and that only one of them will be sitting in the House next year. It's like the choice of firing squad vs. lethel injection.

Posted by: Tommy Cranston at June 12, 2010 7:24 PM If there's anything positive coming from Ms. Gorman's run, it's that her victory would take down a Democrat I really wouldn't mind seeing removed from the legislature.
