So what a joke this RISC group really is. Of those nine candidates 6 are already office holders. So this group really doesnt' represent change. I'd said it once, and I'll say it again, the "reformers" and "good governemnt" groups in Rhode Island, which might have the right intentions, can't shoot straight or get out of their own way.
Posted by: Rasputin at July 21, 2010 2:01 PMAll of those six office holders have been fairly consistent voters on behalf of fiscally responsible, conservative positions in opposition to the "leadership" of the GA.
In one breath the Progressive cabal criticizes the conservative movement for blanket "vote the bums out" slogans, and in the next they criticize us for not doing that. What could the Progressives be missing?
Well, in their willfully blindered ignorance, they are missing the "nuance" of the conservative position. We aren't saying everybody in the GA is a bum, but we are saying that all who are bums should be removed by the voters. It isn't a difficult distinction, but is apparently beyond the Progressive ability to think.
