Marc Comtois
As mentioned previously, I've had a book in the works. Not political; history (and ancient at that!). It's now out.
Thanks!

Posted by: Marc at June 8, 2011 5:58 PMBurgundians referenced in the Song of the Volsungs where history and myth intertwine. King Gjuki, prominently mentioned. They were wild horsemen from the steppes before they settled down and tended vineyards. Conflicts with Atilla also mentioned in the saga. Have you read these legends?

OTL, Yup, read them and loved them. Cover the Niebelungenlied in the book (Chapter 4) as well as some of that intertwining of history/myth and some of the historical theories about links between Huns and Burgundians.
