About Engaged Citizen
Agreed. Even though I live in 105 degree Texas now RI will always be home. You can't beat a NE summer and fall with 2nd Beach Newport and The Mooring for lunch.

Posted by: Tommy Cranston at July 9, 2011 7:53 PMHaiti, Nigeria, Somalia, Cuba, Bangladesh and North Korea all have beaches-many of them very nice.
East Matunic? Block Island in the distance? Awesome, I used to go ten times a summer, when my wife could walk, it's still beautiful. (my wife too!)
Posted by: michael at July 9, 2011 8:42 PMWe played "Stiff the Governor" this weekend. Went down to Wheeler after 3:30, paid 0 and still had 4+ hours of beautiful swimming and beach. Lifeguards, concessions and facilities all available until 6. This was one of the best beach weekends I've experienced in RI.
