Internecine Rhetorical Heat
Anchor Rising will be invading the 630AM/99.7FM WPRO studio tonight for an all-AR Violent Roundtable on the Matt Allen show. Tune in to hear Andrew, Monique, and me bat around the issues of the day as Matt tosses them out to us.
Why not make it interesting amongst yourselves. Consider it an AR debate. Agree to throw in $20 each or whatever, at the end, Matt picks who did the best job on their points. Winner takes home the cash, or losers buy dinner or whatever.
Can’t wait til 8.
You all did a great job.
Thanks, Patrick. My $20 goes to Will for that comment.
That was a nice way for Matt to wind up the week.Did he make you watch that tape?
You all did a great job, especially Monique. Now, can I have $40? 😉
Joe – no, but he described the event, which was enough.
Joe is referring to an incident in which a politician accused of corruption called a press conference at which he handed out a sheet of paper to everyone, stepped to the microphone and … er, exercised his Second Amendment rights on himself to an extreme degree.
Actually, when the Blagojevich allegations broke, the evidence was so convincing and the potential charges so extensive, I thought that’s what the gov would do, only in private. It’s pretty amazing that he has taken exactly the opposite tack – remaining in office and asserting his innocence.
Onwe can only hope he will take “Cat in the Hat” Emanuel and maybe Axelrod down with him.Possibly Jesse Jackson Jr.although that situation is far from clear.
What’s the big deal. When Obama promised “change you can believe in” Blagojevich took him at his word! ; -)
One good thing, Chicago makes Rhode Island’s storied corruption look relatively subdued in comparison.
