My question is “Why are you falsifying your income to buy a $25K car?”
It does give an insight into how the budget happens though… When we’re lead by people who make false statements in order to extend their leverage beyond what they can reasonably pay back, what do you expect?

the guy is lying that his income is just over $100k per year. does that mean he is making less? and has $1.5 million in debt?
so how much money did he really make?

This person committed fraud an you want to stand behind him, why so you can be next? I am curious to find out whether or not he took cash out of closing (attorneys know how to play that game), de-frauding the banks more money based on the homes inflated valuations.
