Do You Trust Me?

Speaker Fox and the various members of the Democratic leadership say the Chafee plan is dead…..Right?

“I’m not going to swear on any Bible about revenue enhancements at this point,” Fox said. “Before we go to the taxpayers and say we need to increase your taxes, we need to build some credibility with them to say that we have turned over every stone, every nickel and dime.”
“We’re still looking at a lot of things,” said House Finance Committee Chairman Helio Melo, D-East Providence. “The speaker did mention that he had major concerns with some of those 1-percent items. But I did not get the impression that he’s taken all of the sales tax off the table.”

Fox can be trusted to be one thing-a profligate wastrel of other peoples’ money.
He and his retinue have displayed exactly zero in the way of stewardship of public funds;but what with the unions voting en masse and the parasites who keep Kate Brewster employed these statehouse vermin will continue to rape the taxpayers.
Some of these taxes were obscene.
I notice Chafee’s yacht club eloi were spared any tax proposals at all.
These taxes were designed to rob middle/working class people to take care of those unwilling to earn a cent and political hacks.
If anyone can justify Peter Asen’s job in the GA please speak up.
I know he has friends here.

You better believe it isn’t over.
It will be over at 2:30 AM some weekday in late June.
The increasingly plump Golilocks Brewster will be happy; most of us will not.
Count on it.
