It’s time for the garlic, stakes and crosses.
I suppose it’s not too bad. All her money has dried up and her supporters have already maxed out.
More diviseness and bitterness at the national level of the democrat party-let’s hope it carries over into November
Yeah! So we can elect the RINO fossil who will keep us in Iraq for another 100 years and admittedly doesn’t know anything about economics.
Even if we win we lose.
In addtion to the big win in PA, Hillary has multiple reasons to continue her campaign:
-She has won most of the big states, which is the key to winning a general election based on the electoral college system.
-Late deciding voters voted for her over Obama.
-Obama’s prevous wins in the so-called “white” states such as Iowa came before the Rev. Wright story and the stories about Obama relationships with the Weathermen individuals. There is a serious question as to whether Obama would be able to win some of the same states again.
-Clinton does better among Reagan Democrats which may be key to a general election.
-She won PA despite being heavily outspent.
-Hillary won two other big key general election states, FL and MI, even though the DNC decided to disenfrachise those voters.
-There’s still a chance for Hillary to win the popular vote.
-By virtually everyone’s account, Hillary outperformed Obama in the most recent debate, to the point where it looks Obama may be ducking the NC debate.
So if you’re Hillary Clinton, why would you even consider dropping out of this race?
You forgot the REAL reason, Anthony.
She’s $10 million in the hole and doesn’t want to have to eat that after already infusing the campaign with $5 mill of her own cash.
It was hilarious to hear the talking heads peddle the “Hillary was outspent” meme last night.
How soon they forget how Hillary began the campaign. She locked it down just like Dubya did in ’99 – all the big fundraisers, big-name campaign operatives, big money sources (millionaires, Wall Street, CEOs, union leadership). That’s why Gore and Kerry took a pass on the race.
The storyline Big Media peddles, Obama can’t put it away, should be exactly the opposite. Hillary began this campaign with every advantage Bush had. She should’ve put Obama away in February just like Bush did McCain eight years ago.
I don’t know if Pyhrric is the right word here but Clinton just spent all of her resources on a state that she needed to win by at least 10 more percent to stay in this mathematically. She is running to poison the well against other democrats.

Anybody want to start a pool on whether Hillary goes Zell Miller at the GOP convention if Obama wins the nomination?
The only people who’ll look more ridiculous than Hillary will be the hidebound conservatives who’ve spent the past 16 years trashing her. Or maybe Hillary just wants to be accepted by the “cool kids.”

At this point the magic number is 270 Electoral Votes. The bigger question is who can win states like Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania, in November?
What states will really be in play? The next President will either be McCain or Obama. Hillary is not likely to be Democratic nominee. Primaries are not like General Elections.
The war and the ecomomy and I suspect gas prices will be an irritant to work against the GOP but I think McCain can still win. The inexperience factor with Obama and his leftist political views have not really been exploited yet like they should be.

Hillary Clinton had a very strong showing in the RI Democratic primary.
RI is clearly one of her strongholds.
It’s another reason why RI is no place I’d want to live.
