Well, the Detroit automakers have allowed slipping standards for years due to the labor unions’ (organized crime) influence, and they’re seeking a bailout from the liberal illuminati, so why not?
The left apparently has trouble turning down requests from the people who work so hard to get them elected, no matter what lobbyists are supposedly barred from Obama’s transition team.
Hey! What about us apartment rats? If I stop paying rent for three months, why shouldn’t I get a bailout?

I brought this idea of defaulting on the mortgage and it didn’t go too well. Here’s the conversation.
Me: Say, how about we not pay the mortgage for two months? Maybe we can get a piece of the bailout pie?
Wife: We can’t.
Me: Why?
Wife: We don’t have a mortgage.
Me: When did this happen and why wasn’t I told?
Wife: Three years ago. We doubled our mortgage payments for the last six years so it was paid off seven years in advance.
Me: Well, what about the car payments?
Wife: Paid both in one year.
Me: Damn! Don’t we own on anything?
Wife: NO! and quit bugging me!
Me: Yes dear….
Justin, I apologize for not being able to support this cause. It appears that the wife and I have been following the responsibility rulebook.
Perhaps I can divorce her and take out a credit card in her name? I’ll make a donation to the GOP.
