Where have they been?
“The official explanation: no date seemed to work well with everyone’s summer vacation schedule. … House leaders planned a two day-return in early October, and then learned that a key lawmaker — House Corporations Committee Chairman Brian Kennedy — would be unavailable.”
Summer vacations. Ahh. Kennedy being missing can hold up the whole process too? God forbid that nothing ever happen to Kennedy while he’s in office then, if the whole Assembly can’t meet unless he’s available. Unreal.

Did I hear Paiva-Weed accurately when she stated we don’t have annual deficit problems?
Did she really say that?
Was quite disappointed John didn’t remind her of the one-time fixes like stimulus and tobacco that have been needed in recent years to balance the books.
This clueless woman is the boss of the state Senate?
No wonder the ship is sinking. As a passenger on the Titanic Paiva-Weed would have started a study commission on the effects of ships hitting icebergs.

I knew Weed was going to be on but I had better things to do that would actually improve the quality of my life.
I cleaned the lint out of my bellybutton. Now I’ll feel better.
Here’s my best guess as to what Weed spat this morning. I have total confidence in the General Assembly and we’re working hard for the people of RI.
Let me translate. “We are setting up the Republican governor for total failure so we can have a Democrat on the Hill” “Oh, we don’t care if we destroy the state in the process”.
So no, I didn’t bother to listen nor will I download the Podcast.
I need to trim my toenails.
