The weird thing about Beck vs. Hannity and Rush is I am not sure if Beck really knows how insane his words are. He had a history of major drug use in his younger years and sometimes I watch him and think he really believes his, paranoid conspiracy theories.
When I listen to Rush and Hannity I know they don’t believe what they are saying, but have made millions of dollars, and became famous by manipulating their audiences to vote against themselves. So they are just Corporate prostitutes, but Beck may be just crazy and should be pitied.

“This president I think has exposed himself over and over again as a guy who has a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture….I’m not saying he doesn’t like white people, I’m saying he has a problem. This guy is, I believe, a racist”

Chris Matthews and Joe Biden both have made disgusting patronizing comments about Obama in a racial context and neither seemed to realize how they sounded.
I personally have a problem with Obama’s choice of minister for 20 years, particularly with regard to giving that scumbag Farrakhan a lifetime achievement award.
Why do you spend your time watching people you can’t stand.
I do agree with you that Limbaugh and Hannity are hucksters, and don’t forget “Mr.Smarmy” O’Reilly.
Michael Savage(Wiener)is also a shameless individual, always looking for more money.
Some of these guys remind me of Oral Roberts, who asked for money to pay God so he wouldn’t be “called home”-WTF??-why would God need money? And yet people sent him the bucks!!
If Roberts was a true believer, why would he fear being “called home”?All of us will be sooner or later.
I thnk Beck had a drinking problem. Are you sure about the drugs?

On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience here today — our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.
Dan Quayle? Glenn Beck?
Nope.
Barack Obama – Memorial Day Speech 2008
But then we know from his ‘auto’biography that he did use drugs.
Bet if we transcribed absolutely everything you said for a few days, we’d find enough to suggest drug impairment on your part. I’ve never met anyone who hasn’t uttered a few howlers.
What is troubling about O’s gaffe above is that it was telepromptered.

Only caught a few minutes of the rally, just enough to receive a quick impression. It seemed very much directed to “average Americans”, country music, etc. I do not say this derogatively (unlike the Obama “supporters” who want inoculations before attending a NASCAR event).
I have only heard Beck a few times and have no concise opinion. As to Limbaugh and Hannity, I do believe there are economic motives. But, I also think there is some sincerity in what they say. Contrary to Sammy’s view, who’s attacks seem ad hominoid, I don’t believe an ability to make money off your views discredits them.
A little factoid, I once read a book about an Englishman who “single handed” down the Mississippi in the early 1970’s. He encountered a country lawyer named Rush Limbaugh, I suspect this was the current Limbaugh’s grandfather.

“I have a scheme”
That was the cover story on a 1970’s “Lampoon”. There lead story was on MLK. Not laudatory, as I recall.

For Beck to “reclaim” the civil rights movement is beyond ludicrous, borders on insanity . This clown said the President has a deep seated hatred for white people, he knows nothing about the civil rights movement except that he wasn’t part of it in any way

If he and Palin are seriously trying to play the religion card, all they do is remind people who voted for Obama and have been disappointed in him precisely why they voted the way they did two years ago.
The Tea Party is most successful when it keeps its focus on the economy. When it strays into religion, social issues, etc., it doesn’t do as well. And there are Tea Party members who are wishing Beck would just shut up, too.

I really hope that people who take the time to travel to marches, rallies, vigils, etc also take the time to vote.
Without the latter,it’s all BS.
Something will change this November, but the extent is the open question.
Not having signs was smart. It kept the Larouchites from providing tinder for the leftists.
Two questions for Obama:
(1)How come you didn’t get your programs through the way you wanted them when you had a filibuster proof majority in the Senate(pre-Scott Brown)and a majority and the Speaker and committee chairs in the House?
(2)How come we have a war going on and a near depression?Never happened before.
Two questions-no nonsense about birth certificates or being a Muslim-no distractions.Just two hard questions.

Rhody has a point-the revival meeting shtick goes only so far before it starts turning off conservatives who aren’t religious.

GLENN BECKS TEN CRAZIEST QUOTES 1..This president I think has exposed himself over and over again as a guy who has a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture….I’m not saying he doesn’t like white people, I’m saying he has a problem. This guy is, I believe, a racist.” –on President Obama, sparking an advertiser exodus from his FOX News show, July 28, 2009 ) 2. “I’m thinking about killing Michael Moore, and I’m wondering if I could kill him myself, or if I would need to hire somebody to do it. … No, I think I could. I think he could be looking me in the eye, you know, and I could just be choking the life out. Is this wrong? I stopped wearing my What Would Jesus — band — Do, and I’ve lost all sense of right and wrong now. I used to be able to say, ‘Yeah, I’d kill Michael Moore,’ and then I’d see the little band: What Would Jesus Do? And then I’d realize, ‘Oh, you wouldn’t kill Michael Moore. Or at least you wouldn’t choke him to death.’ And you know, well, I’m not sure.” –responding to the question “What would people do for $50 million?”, “The Glenn Beck Program,” May 17, 2005 3. “When I see a 9/11 victim family on television, or whatever, I’m just like, ‘Oh shut up’ I’m so sick of them because they’re always complaining.” –”The Glenn Beck Program,” Sept. 9, 2005 4. “The only [Katrina victims] we’re seeing on television are the scumbags.” –”The Glenn Beck Program,” Sept. 9, 2005 5. “I think there is a handful of people who hate America. Unfortunately for them, a lot of them are losing their homes in a forest fire today.” –on why people who lost their homes… Read more »

Sammy: You must listen/watch Beck too much to be sane.
Joe B: Savage is the only clear thinker of the bunch. When he asks for money it is to fight the injustice of charging our Marines with defending this country. I very happily pay $6 a month for his logical “nonsense”.

Sammy,
In classic liberal fashion, you pluck a bunch of quotes, which, conveniently for your, tell a different story without their surrounding context. I’ve seen Beck enought to believe he actually does those “crazy guy” rants on purpose. Just so idiots like you will take him out of context. Because if you’re “exposure” ever did get any traction, it would go right back in your face.
Have fun being a twit.
