In case you missed it…

There were all sorts of developments over the weekend. Apparently someone named Charlie Sheen is now some sort of ambassador or FCC chair or something. He’s been in the news a lot lately.
Also, there’s been a lot of talk about some speech given by the king this morning.
We have a king?
I guess the speech was in Hollywood, which somewhere along the way became the new capital of the country (as least as far as I can tell by the news coverage). Apparently there is some new legislative body that gathers every now and then, pats itself on the back and hands out a variety of awards. Sounds like pork to me.
Anyway, happy Monday and I hope you’re all caught up on the important news, now.

Perhaps, as Margaret Thatcher put it, they ran out of other peoples’ money?

That is unfortunate to hear if they are finished. They had a higher ranking than anchor so I wonder if/when that will happen here?

“the important news”
Surely one of the blond princesses (Paris, Lindsay, Ga) made the news also? I’m off to supplement Marc’s vital report with this critical information.

“They had a higher ranking than anchor”
Where? When? Offer proof or admit to the lie.

Marc,
I know you are in jest when you say; “We have a king? “
But for your information there is a rather large royal palace located in the 50th State of Hawaii (only state in nation with a royal palace that had electricity and plumbing (flush toilets before the White House) and a recognized royal monarchy and what most people don’t know there is a plot of land in Hawaii that never was transferred to the territory or the state so as to preserve the Hawaiian Kingdom and monarchy (meaning there could be a real King, Queen, Prince or Princess in existence) which was brutally and forcefully overthrown by the plantation owners (no slavery was involved on Hawaii plantations all contract labor) with the help of the U.S. Marines. The President of the United States (before Obama) has since offered written apology to the people of Hawaii.
The state of Hawaii is the nations’ forward guard and deterrent in the Pacific Ocean and plays a pivotal role in the safety and security of the lower 48 states, Alaska and territories. It has already been brutally attacked once without warning killing thousands of military and civilians.
In November of 2011 50th state Hawaii will host the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) conference (2nd time held on U.S.A. soil in 20 years). APEC will bring together the 21 leaders of Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Peru, the Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Taipei, Thailand, United States and Vietnam. The countries finance ministers and entourages, World Bank plus over 2,000 member of the world press. It is estimated over 20,000 hotel rooms will be required for this event.
Happay Monday to you too!
