Yep, Boston is the first city to win all four major sports titles this century. Suck on that, New York and your 50 million different teams.

Better yet Patrick, they’re the first city to have four ACTIVE champion coaches who won their rings in that city.
Did that make sense? I might still be a little hung-over. Bruins rock!

Not so fast my friends. Boston threw the Patriots out. They used to be called the Patsies,Mighty Foxboro’s,etc. Boston never wanted the Patriots …that’s why the stadium ended up in Foxboro…..lest you forget.

Nice try Anthony but the team had no home field in Boston of their own. Besides, a team’s location is based on the location of it’s fan base. Hence, the New York Giants and New York Jets. Boston IS without a doubt the uncontested new Titletown.

Yeah, at least these teams are honest with their naming. Why aren’t the the “New Jersey” Giants?
I always like the banners in Buffalo when the Jets or Giants go there to play:
“Welcome to New York”
Oh, and this century:
Boston titles: 11
New York: 2
Let’s not forget that Boston is doing that with 4 teams. New York/New Jersey does it with 9.
Now the Revs gotta get one to make it five out of five.

Max, Patrick are you old enough to remember the Patriots playing at Fenway Park?…how about Harvard Stadium? The truth is everybody loves a winner and avoids a loser. The city of Boston made fun of the Patriots in their unheralded days. The aluminum benches in Foxboro were pretty empty then. Boston fan base? Yes because now they are fashionable. The city of Boston is proud to claim the Patriots………now.
