What schadenfreude the authoritarian moralists must be feeling right now at the expense of these women and their male customers. This compulsive need to terrorize and rule over the lives of peaceful individuals is surely the darkest side of humanity.

I have a feeling that Driver objected for reasons different from Segal and Ajello, though I don’t know for sure. I have a feeling that Driver doesn’t think it should be criminalized at all while Segal and Ajello think the bill doesn’t go far enough.

Huh? I don’t get it. Segal and Ajello want more women arrested, you’re saying? If so, I think you’ve got a severe misreading of the left.
