Julie Casimiro, Representative District 31 (D), and Mike Chippendale, Representative District 40 (R), join host Richard August to discuss bills passed and not passed during the last legislative session and the agenda for a possible special fall session, now seeming unlikely. They also talk about the current budget inflated by the influx of federal Covid-19 money and its effect on future budgets which may be unsustainable. The power struggle between the legislature and the executive branch regarding power and jurisdiction was addressed.
