A Note on Advertisements

A free way (or at least consumerist way) to help Anchor Rising is to click on any advertisements that we manage to procure. More than once, if you’re so inclined. Daily, even.
Just be aware of what you’re reading. We try to keep a reasonable eye out for ads of a dubious nature, but we’re generally disinclined to restrict the message. I’d note, for example, that the founders of Bullitics (see ad at left) have progressive resumés, but there’s no obvious twist to their polls.

When I went there, it gave me only Republican candidates to choose from. Which is fine but did it know that I am a registered Repubublican? Or did it randomly assign a poll?
Or maybe because AR is not a progressive website …? Hey, Rhody, if you read this, you’re a registered Dem. (I’m completely guessing here.) You do it and see what candidates it gives you to choose from. Click on the ad, then off on the left, choose “politics”, not either party.
I think maybe I’m still waking up. Or paranoid. Either way, I’m off to have some coffee.

Go to “browse polls”, and on the left you’ll see Democrats, Republicans and other categories.
I actually was a registered Dem for a few years in the ’90s (forgot to disaffiliate after a primary and carelessly let it slide awhile).
